Over a several month period, we took these strollers through a gauntlet of tests to see how they compare to one another in day-to-day use. Hands-on testing in regular day-to-day use provided a lot of information about each product and how they compare in real-world settings. We also performed a series of more controlled tests to look at very specific elements of performance in an apples-to-apples manner. The tests were often designed to push the products to the limits to see how one truly compared to the others.

We defined specific tests to look at key performance elements. These ranged from simple things like rating the ease of unbuckling and buckling baby in the safety harness, and whether or not items fall out of cup holders while strolling, to more obscure tests like pushing them across grass, gravel, dirt, and even snow.

We also performed tests to examine stability. These tests did reveal important differences, such as a back-tip issue in the fully reclined Baby Jogger City Mini GT that we feel is potentially dangerous.

In our testing, we refrained from using manufacturer's specifications for weights, size, and other factors and instead performed our own measurements in a consistent manner for each and every product so that the results could be compared without the concern for the variability of measuring devices or methods.

Our hope is that by performing a mix of real world testing and lab-style testing, we can give parents a more complete picture and set of information to make the right choice for each family.
